A City Before the First Sunrise
NightShift is still in development, but the institutions, jobs, neighbourhoods, and first stories are already taking shape.

There are no rush-hour lines yet. No restaurant has closed late. No judge has called a courtroom to order, no rookie officer has taken a first radio call, and no reporter has filed a story from the rain. NightShift is still a city before its first sunrise.
Behind that silence, however, the foundations are being built. The development team is preparing a QB-Core city where public institutions, civilian careers, real estate, player-owned businesses, crime, racing, news, and community events create reasons for residents to depend on one another.
The goal is connection
The city is not being designed as a collection of isolated money routes. Trucking should feed logistics and businesses. Real-estate listings should create showings and negotiations. Injuries should create EMS scenes. Police work should create investigations and court material. Businesses should create jobs and public spaces. Weazel should preserve the results.
Applications are part of preparation
Prospective residents will be able to use the website to apply for whitelist access, departments, staff, legal work, journalism, real estate, business ownership, and other approved opportunities. The form is not the roleplay. It is the first organized step toward an interview, meeting, academy, showing, hiring decision, or storyline.
No one knows the ending
The first residents will decide which businesses become institutions, which neighbourhoods become important, which rivalries survive, which laws change, and what the city remembers. That uncertainty is the point.
NightShift is in development. The first edition of Weazel News begins now so the public record starts before the gates open.
